Poems

Hi blog members. We have been doing poems about flowers and doing syllables that are in it.One of the poems we had to do was 5-7-5.  We have been doing it for 3 days. So we have done it 3 types of poems. It is so fun. I do it at home so I can be done.  I am going to show you my Haiku poems

Wen also did a cinquain poem.  We have been doing tulip and and roses. It had to be two syllables then the secone line had to be 4 syllables. 3th line was 6 syllables next line was 8 syllables last one was 5 syllables .So we have done it 3 times it is so fun I do it at home so I can be done I am going to show my other one. 

   

Buddy Class

Kia Orana welcome back to my blog. Today we had a new buddies in buddy class. I had two buddies because it was Tianas last day. The teacher read a book called The Hissing Bush. We had two pieces of paper we had to draw on one and the other we had to write what was under the bush. Our writing had to go with what was in the box/picture.

Paper Mache

In room 10 we have been doing paper mache.  We are making birds of New Zealand. Our birds are made out of wire and then paper mached over.  Me and lily did a kakariki. After we have done it we give it to the classes. Here is a photo of mine and Lily's so far.

Tree bark rubbing

 Hi everyone. In topic we have been talking about different bark shapes and size. We had a piece of paper folded into 8 squares. You could pick a buddy or go by yourself. Your buddy had to have a crayon but it had to be brown but in different colours of brown. Before we did this bark rubbing we did leaves and about the forest. Here is a photo of my bark rubbing. Elgregoe

 On Friday, the 9th of February, we watched Elgregoe's show at 9.28. The whole school was there to watch it was so cool. We all had to go to the the gym, there were lots of  parrots. Then he made his wife go in the box her finger was stuck. Here is a photo.
